The situation
This brick ranch in Irmo had storm damage significant enough that a repair didn't make sense. Instead of leaving the homeowner to fight with paperwork alone, we did what we do on every storm job: documented the damage thoroughly with photos, gave an honest read on whether a claim was justified, and worked directly with the insurance adjuster. The claim was approved for a full replacement.
What we did
- Complete photo documentation of the storm damage for the claim
- Coordination with the homeowners insurance adjuster through approval
- Full tear-off down to the decking, with every sheet inspected
- Synthetic underlayment and ice-and-water protection in the critical areas
- New architectural asphalt shingles, flashing, and pipe boots
- Final drone inspection to verify every slope, ridge, and penetration
The result
A brand-new architectural shingle roof, with the insurance company covering the replacement because the damage was documented properly from the first visit. That's the part most homeowners miss: a storm claim is won or lost on documentation. If your roof has been through hail or high wind, get it inspected and documented before you file anything. Our storm damage team handles that entire process, and the inspection is free.
